More details have emerged on Oracle's plans for Sun Microsystems.

There will be hardware cutbacks in Sun's range, particularly in low-end systems.

But Oracle will pump money into the open source side of the business, with a cloud version of OpenOffice to go head-to-head with Google Docs...
