EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,
We kick off with Intel researchers talking RouterBricks, which they showcased at last week's Research@Intel day.
The architecture aims to let carriers, ISPs and enterprises replace costly switches and routers with clusters of off-the-shelf servers running modular router software developed by MIT. Interesting stuff.
Also, AVG gets a hand from Suncorp and the manufacturing costs of the iPhone 3GS are revealed.
