Hewlett Packard retained a deal to supply the US Air Force with desktops, laptops, servers and storage for the next five years.
Over the past five years of the agreement, the agency purchased US$450 million ($503 million) worth of kit, covering 720,000 desktops and 40,000 laptops.
The Air Force was not under any obligation to procure a minimum amount from HP, according to contract documents, however the agreement could see it buy up to US$800 million worth of gear.
