EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The joint Parliamentary committee overseeing progress of the National Broadband Network has called on New Zealand politicians and telcos to provide evidence on the country's equivalent fibre rollout next week. But Malcolm Turnbull, a key proponent of the NZ experience, won't attend.

And the National Australia Bank has revealed some of the components behind its core banking transformation program. It will adopt much of Oracle's new Banking Platform by 2014.
