EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The unravelling story of a data breach at AAPT and defacements to Queensland Government websites has taken another turn. iTnews can reveal that Melbourne IT hosted the breached servers for both clients, which were hit by an Anonymous splinter group in protest against the Federal Government's data retention proposal.

And the local court case between Apple and Samsung has continued this week, with the iPhone maker claiming its implementation of the 3G mobile standard is superior to the one Samsung claims Apple infringed on.
