Good morning,

Communications Minister Stephen Conroy last night said it was too early to speculate on the future of Labor's internet filtering regime, noting that "you don't - simply because you get a lot of criticism - simply run away from that policy".

Also making headlines this morning, independent MP Rob Oakeshott has stood against Telstra's plan to close a 108-seat call centre in regional NSW and WikiLeaks' German spokesman has quit after falling out with Australian founder Julian Assange.
