Tough times in the laptop market have led Victorian reseller Notebooks R Us to consolidate four retail outlets into one.

An employee of the reseller confirmed the recent closure of Notebooks R Us’ Melbourne, Dandenong and St Kilda stores.

The employee said all sales were now being made through the company's main store located in Victoria Street Abbotsford, Victoria.

On 15 December, Notebooks R Us made two 484E Change to Company Details Appointment or Cessation of A Company regulatory filings at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

A spokesperson from ASIC said a the filings typically refered to a change in senior company management.

Owners of the reseller, brothers Gerard and Rob O’Neil, were not available for comment.
