ServGate Technologies launches in the UK

ServGate Technologies, a network security specialist for small-to-medium-sized business, has launched in the UK.

The first product from the Californian headquartered firm, which has its UK offices in Wilmslow, Cheshire, is the EdgeForce modular security system, which supports virus, spam and URL filtering; firewall; VPN, web caching and intrusion detection in a single unit.


ServGate says that the EdgeForce system can either work as a standalone unit or together with an existing firewall or VPN gateway to provide add-on services, such as for anti-spam facilities.
