In brief: Security auditor and trainer Vectra has hired Visa Australia's country risk manager Red O'Conner to shore up its anti-fraud services.
O'Conner has worked with merchant fraud including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) for almost two decades.
He oversaw counter-fraud and PCIDSS efforts at Visa and had previously clocked some 15 years in fraud mitigation at the National Australia Bank.
