PCRange planned to launch two FRITZ!Box models in January initially through ISP Internode.

Developed by German company AVM, FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 provides ADSL2+, four 100-Mbit/s Ethernet ports and dual-band Wireless LAN a/b/g/n support.

One model above, the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7390 (pictured) has four gigabit Ethernet ports, ADSL2+, VDSL2, concurrent dual-band WLAN access points, ISDN support and on-board storage for media services and NAS functions, the company claimed.

Further, the FRITZ!Box has a built-in DECT cordless handset base station, supporting six wireless handsets, plus two wired VoIP handset ports and a “lifeline” voice port.

PCRange chief executive Raaj Menon said launching FRITZ!Box complemented its existing product range by adding a “high end consumer and SOHO device”.

Internode managing director Simon Hackett said the imminent launch was the "culmination of more than a year of work".

All PCRange resellers will have access to the box from February.

FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 would retail for $369. The FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7390 would retail for $469.
