Exetel hunts for staff

Corporate sales and sales support roles on offer.

ISP Exetel has earmarked the recruitment of 36 staff in Australia over the next year, most of which are corporate sales and sales engineering support roles.

In a blog post, chief John Linton said approximately the same number would also need to be added to the company's growing presence in Sri Lanka.

The company employs engineers in Sri Lanka to provide level one and two phone support to its customer base in Australia.

"Additional Sys Admin roles will almost certainly be based in Sri Lanka with only the current positions remaining in Australia," Linton said.

Linton said Exetel had achieved record profits in August and that September forecasts also indicated "an equally good result".

He said the ISP in its current form had achieved "66 months of unbroken monthly growth".
