AMD takes 'new' initiative

Processing powerhouse AMD wants to share the love and deepen the penetration of technology in India through IT channels.

AMD say is is building up a forté in India by strengthening existing relationships and reaching out to new ones.

General manager Deepanshu 'the charmer' Sharma says, “We always focus on balanced strategy by widening the market share and penetrating deep into the market.”

According to Sharma, AMD is quite unique as he claims that the company is, "positioned as the only company globally with expertise in three of the most important PC technologies."

He's talking about the triple and quad core Phenom processors, the 4800 and 780 series graphics chipsets, and the Turion Ultra platform, of course.

In terms of the IT slowdown Sharma is full of confidence as he reckons that AMDs products are either, "compelling enough for them to go ahead with purchase, " or that buying these goods is simply, "need driven" so consumers just won’t be able to resist.

Well, we're happy to hear that nothing can get in the way of flawless AMD's success.
