NetApp, the storage and data management systems provider, has today launched solutions designed to help firms make better use of their engineering and development resources.

The firm said that it would help enterprises to transform their engineering data centres, making it easier for them to use and access their most demanding applications in a much more scalable and economical manner, but without affecting their performance.

NetApp has released three new products to enable this, two new entrants to its storage system series, a new Storage Acceleration Appliance, and a Performance Acceleration Module.

Combined these offer improved caching, accelerated performance, and optimisation features, while also lessening power consumption.
