BigAir takes on board mergers and acquisition man

 

Australian wireless service provider, BigAir has taken Ross McColl onto its board of directors as a non-executive director.

According to an ASX-announcement McColl has been employed at executive level and consultant level to both private and public companies in New Zealand, Malaysia, USA and Australia.

His previous roles have included mergers and acquisitions, growth strategies, general management and specialised IT project management.

McColl’s most recent employment included a stint at publicly listed, RPData in 2006. He was responsible for corporate development, including mergers and acquisitions and new business opportunities within Australia and overseas.
Since leaving RPData, McColl has carried out specific projects and consultancies for companies like BigAir.

The announcement follows the recent resignation of non-executive board member, Ray Catelan.
