We're excited to today announce the finalists of the iTnews Benchmark Awards 2017/18.

With a record number of entries, we've made a few tweaks to the program this year - including introducing a new Rising Star category for junior IT professionals. We've also got a shiny new Benchmark Awards microsite to match.

Voting for the winners will now open in the iTnews LinkedIn CIO Group. If you're an IT leader but not a member, head on over and request to join today.

We'll be running spotlights on each category's finalists - starting this week with state and local government - over the next two months in the lead up to the Benchmark Awards gala dinner in February, where we will crown this year's winners.
