EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Today we report the departure of yet another stalwart of the industry - Ian White leaves Oracle after several decades running the company's ANZ operations.

It strikes me as strange that Oracle kept this one so quiet.

In my few dealings with Ian he struck me as a calm and considered leader and peers spoke well of him too.

It should not be taken as comment on his able and experienced replacement when I say that there has lately been a few too many folk of White's ilk exiting the major vendors.

If you know more about the story, get in touch.
