EDITOR'S NOTE
|
Good morning,
Well folks, your bleary-eyed iTnews team have had quite the evening.
LNP MP Paul Fletcher released an internet filter policy, LNP shadow communications minister Malcolm Turnbull endorsed it on national radio, we reported it, and shortly afterwards Turnbull said the whole thing was a mistake and deleted the policy document.
I'm not sure whether to laugh, cry or apologise if we unnecessarily boiled your blood. We have archived the "mistake" policy document for those wondering if the media had all lost their minds.
With just one day to go until Australians go to the polls, broadband remains the issue deemed most important to the ICT sector by iTnews readers. Our poll found nearly one in two rank broadband first, followed by skills and jobs (24 percent) and privacy and surveillance (13 percent).
We've wrapped up all our election coverage and a side-by-side comparison of the major parties' policies in each critical ICT area here.
Who will you be voting for tomorrow? Tell us on our homepage poll.
-- Charis Palmer
