EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

After an epic week in politics two key things happened in Parliament late on Friday.

Firstly the Government passed its controversial 457 visa crackdown bill, meaning companies will now be forced to advertise jobs locally before looking offshore.

And after 6 years of debate it seems data breach notification law has been avoided by another government, with the bill failing to make the Senate for discussion.

Have a great week,

-- Charis Palmer
