EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The Australian Passports Office website is entering its second week of downtime this morning, after hardware failure sent its web servers offline. It's not a good look for a Government that just last week announced its "digital first" plan for public-facing services.

Meanwhile, a stoush between the ACMA and the Police Federation is set to continue, as the latter group pushes for a piece of the prized 700 MHz spectrum.

Enjoy the week,

-- Charis Palmer
