NBN Co is often called on to release statistics on the progress of the rollout. The thing is, they do, every month, just in a disaggregated format.

iTnews has spent the past fortnight running the figures. What we found will have even the most ardent of NBN supporters scratching their heads.

Almost 70,000 premises cut from brownfields areas in just one month. Over a quarter of rollouts to new housing estates delayed. What is going on?
