EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The Department of Defence has put a $6.2 million price tag on an eight-month pilot of its thin client desktop environment, which we revealed last month would be run by Thales.

And the Federal Government has finally moved on plans to trial a text-based emergency service for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, two years after first announced by Senator Stephen Conroy.

Have a great day,

-- James Hutchinson
