EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

A project to run another undersea cable between Australia, New Zealand and the USA has lost a vital financial backer, but Pacific Fibre expects it will still find the cash to complete the build.

Incidentally, one the main talking points in the telco community today was the difficulties experienced by select Telstra customers attempting to connect to sites hosted in the United States.
