EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Today we leave the more politicised of our peers to argue about what the latest OECD report says about the Federal Government's NBN plan, and instead look at the more conclusive findings from the study.

We also wish to advise of what in our line of work amounts to a "scheduled outage". We'll be offline from late this evening until the start of business hours tomorrow.

Expect a slightly later morning edition tomorrow - and those of you requiring an iTnews fix 'at sparrow's' will just have to sleep in!
