EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Backhaul providers have asked for a better result from NBN Co's point of interconnect (POI) plan, which would connect NBN Co's last mile connections to the backhaul networks of the private sector.

Backhaul operators argued that a centralised approach favoured by NBN Co - with fewer points of interconnect - could reduce competition in the backhaul market.

FEATURED COMMENT

"I have had dealing with SORBS in the past and I can say they are difficult to contact or deal with, list IP's which are innocent, and generally anything but professional in their operation. I think the concept of black listing is out of date, its time to move on to using intelligent Bayesian filtering systems. "
