EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

You may have noted I wished you "good afternoon" in the AM edition yesterday. I am working from San Francisco this week, and its not just the timezones getting mixed up.

As you may have read, SingTel made a big splash here at VMWorld yesterday, announcing the general availability of its 'vCloud' service out of both Singapore and Australia.

I have since been told by the folks at Optus Australia that no such service is in fact available yet at home beyond a beta service announced earlier in the year.
