EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Today, chiefs from two of Australia's largest ISPs respond to Telstra's promise to compete with them "fairly but very aggressively" for broadband customers this year.

We also look at the prestige and perils faced by former HP CEO Mark Hurd's successor, and freshly inked deals between the Queensland Brain Institute and Hitachi, and the Swedish Pirate Party and Wikileaks.
