EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The launch of Cyber Security Awareness week has made for a busy weekend of news.

Late Friday we got wind of an ADSL speed breakthrough under development at iiNet and a workaround for Flash on iPhones and iPads.

On Sunday, Senator Conroy's cyber-security launch was the setting for the Australian Federal Police to announce it was investigating Google over privacy breaches and making demands of Facebook around law enforcement assistance.

And did we mention a new ISP code of practice?
