EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

We're a little earlier than usual today as there are a lot of breaking stories.

With a Federal election looming, the Government has revealed it will delay passage of the internet filter legislation, while the Opposition plans to scrap the NBN.

Meanwhile, Amazon.com has opened its cloud compute in the Asia Pacific and hinted at plans to bring the same to Australia, HP has announced it will buy Palm, and much more.
