EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

Today's edition takes a look at the two executives chosen to lead NBNCo. and its Tasmanian offshoot.

NBNCo. chair Mike Quigley has all the right credentials, but questions will no doubt arise if tender specs swing in the favour of his former employer, Alcatel-Lucent.

Sources within Alcatel-Lucent believe the appointment actually represents a challenge - Quigley will need to be "squeaky clean" in all dealings to avoid Alcatel's competitors accusing him of favouritism.
