Australian CRM software vendor POINT Australia is setting its sights on international markets, changing its name to POINT Global Solutions to realign with its new business model.

“POINT built its reputation on the successful distribution and implementation of the e-Point CRM solution in Australia,” said John Thompson, chief executive officer at POINT Global Solutions.

The company’s services have since evolved, establishing a strong international customer base for its relationship management and business process software, the company said in a release.

“We serve customers in a wide variety of sectors including retail, financial services, energy, professional services, and telecommunications. The renaming of the company as POINT Global Solutions reflects the great progress we have made,” said Thompson.

The company has also expanded its relationship with telecommunications provider Edify to become a reseller of Edify e-Point CRM in the Asia Pacific. Previously the relationship only covered Australia.

“We have also been working to develop our channel relationships,” said Thompson.

“Previously, the majority of our revenue was generated through direct sales. Moving forward, we hope to derive 75 percent of our revenue from sales through the channels, and the balance through direct sales.”
