SkyNetGlobal subsidiary W Home announced Wednesday that it had signed an exclusive agreement with Maestri Towers in Sydney to equip the 380 residential unit building with wireless broadband and home automation products.

The deal would bring W Home's network coverage to 1,279 apartments, the company claimed. Services delivered would include Wi-Fi wireless connectivity, broadband, IP telephony, home networking, security and automation, the company said.

One of the company's primary services is W Broadband, which is claimed to offer unlimited broadband access for $29.95 per month for a 64Kb/s service up to $99.95 for a 512Kb/s service.

The deal follows the signing of The Victoria Towers, a 252 unit building in Sydney two weeks ago, the company said. It plans to equip 10,000 apartments with broadband services by May 2005.

SkyNetGlobal's Singapore subsidiary in June unveiled plans to deploy Singapore's largest wireless hotspot network, following the announcement of a partnership with McDonald's.

SkyNetGlobal in Singapore has signed an exclusive agreement with McDonald's fastfood empire in that nation to build 140 wireless hotspots targeting diners at the restaurant.

ASX-listed SkyNetGlobal last week announced revenue of $4.37 million for the 2003 financial year compared with $558,000 for the previous year. Its EBITDA was $619,000 and net profit was $79,000 for the financial year.

SkyNetGlobal shares were trading at 8 cents per share on Thursday afternoon.
