Australian VoIP provider, MyNetFone cites businesses looking for solutions as the driver behind increased corporate accounts.

MyNetFone witnesses business user growth
Last month MyNetFone launched an eight line business plan aimed at the lucrative SMB market. The PowerSaver PRO 8 claims to allow SMB customers to combine eight phone lines on one VoIP service, operating broadband phone and fax services at a lower price point than traditional services.

With the launch of PowerSaver PRO 8, the VoIP provider was keen to highlight the revenue growth it has been witnessing from the business segment.

Rene Sugo, technical director at MyNetFone, said: “Our business revenue is growing, it is now 40 percent of our revenue and it was 27 percent last year. We find that businesses are coming to us and some of these guys have been relatively large. It is not just about cheap rates with businesses, they are looking for solutions.”

Sugo added that MyNetFone is dedicated to the notion that applications over IP are the future with the firm taking VoIP beyond voice and into convergence.

Andy Fung, managing director at MyNetFone, said many SMB customers are looking to VoIP to reduce their telephone costs.

“Businesses can now achieve the largest possible savings by combining their voice and data requirements onto one converged access network. This allows them to cancel multiple voice and data services with their traditional providers, consequently reducing costs further and providing easier management,” said Fung.

The MyNetFone converged voice and data offering covers aspects such as Quality of Service (QoS), multi-site managed VPN, remote VPN, security, managed firewall services alongside local number portability.
