Good morning,
The Attorney-General's department has confirmed it is still considering a data retention regime for telecommunications and internet service providers, over a year after the controversial plan first came to light.
Government sources have told iTnews that data retention differs from data preservation rules being debated in Canberra, although there are concerns that the latter could lead to retention through scope creep.
Also today, why it's not a good idea to attempt a DIY migration from Microsoft BPOS to Office 365...
