The Uniloc saga has developed overnight with a US appeals court overturning a ruling that said Microsoft did not infringe an anti-piracy activation method patent developed by Aussie inventor Ric Richardson.

Also today, Microsoft Australia replaces managing director Tracey Fellows, with a new 'general manager'.
