The firm, BitDefender said it is inviting Linux enthusiasts and professionals to crash test BitDefender Mail Protection for Enterprise Beta, the upcoming antivirus and anti-spam offering for Linux email servers. Whoever the company deems to be the most thorough beta tester will receive the beers and a trip to BitDefender's corporate headquarters in Romania, where they will attend meetings with Count Dracula.
BitDefender product manager Alexandru Balan said: "By allowing the best Linux enthusiasts in the world to put our new products through the most stringent tests, we are able to offer solutions that have been proven to withstand the worst possible circumstances. We look to forward to awarding the most thorough tester with a visit to Romania that they won't soon forget."
Similar prizes will be offered by the to the first three runner-up contestants, with a special Crash Test Dummy prize and title awaiting the creator of the most original way to crash the product.
A mailing list will be opened for testers to speak directly with BitDefender developers and in-house testers.
