  Editor's Note

Good afternoon,

For decades, Australians have rejected the idea of a national identifier or 'Australia Card', fearing the consequences of data being shared between agencies.

Today's column by David Havyatt suggests that a new generation values efficiency over privacy concerns. He advocates for data to be shared across all Australian governments. What's your view?

The FBI impersonates AP/Seattle Times articles to deliver malware to suspects. Pretty despicable. via @csoghoian http://t.co/DVnslq8Pcn

Looks like the Seattle Times isn't too happy about the FBI impersonating it in order to deliver malware. http://t.co/gXkmdGJWSu

That the FBI impersonated a newspaper's website to deliver malware to a target is outrageous. Over the top crazy.

@trevortimm

As outrageous as it is, secretly impersonating newspapers to send malware probably works. You can bet the FBI has done this more than once.
