Microsoft has unveiled plans to offer just four versions of its upcoming Windows Server 2012 instead of the eight editions offered on its predecessor. We run through the changes.

And Telstra has confirmed an outage of its utility hosting service last Sunday was due to a "software defect" triggered after scheduled maintenance.
