EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

The local ICT sector went a little iPhone-mad today.

First, the latest software update to Apple's device (iPhone 3.0) was released.

Then Optus confirmed its customers will be charged an additional fee to use their iPhone as a modem to provide connectivity to their laptop.

VHA announced, meanwhile, that the '3' brand will carry the iPhone device in competition with the 'Vodafone' brand.
