So much for Oracle continuing to develop Sun's server chip business after acquiring the company, it seems.

Reports are filtering out that the Rock project - which was to replace Fujitsu chips in Sun's high-end boxes - has been canned. Ouch.

Also today, we have a wrap of the ICT impact of the NSW budget and the UK talks broadband-for-all (and maybe a tax on copper lines to pay for it)...
