As was widely tipped overnight, Apple came out with a price reduction on its entry-level iPhone, and also showed off a host of products, including a demo of the forthcoming OS.

The other talking point is Steve Jobs no-show, after heavy rumours all week of an appearance.

Also today, PC makers in or eyeing the China market have another thing to think about - software they will have to install that blocks access to internet sites...
