Good morning,

A national regulated e-waste system is a step closer after the latest sitting of the Environment Protection and Heritage Council in Hobart yesterday.

Although the nature of such regulations is undecided, the AIIA has put forward a proposal that PC makers (or importers) should be responsible for the cost of the kit across its entire lifecycle.

It appears some of the options could be put on the table for public comment as early as July...
