EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

After too many years with not enough broadband options, Tasmania is suddenly a hotbed of activity for ISPs.

Netspace has announced it will join a small club led by Internode and Telstra that now provide ADSL2+ services to the Apple Isle.

The ISPs have no doubt been spurred on by Aurora rolling out fibre to 250,000 Tasmanian homes courtesy of the Federal Government's NBN, plus the imminent connection of the Basslink cable, providing Tasmania fatter pipes to the mainland.
