Good Afternoon;

Our top five predictions for the ICT ramifications of last night's Federal Budget look just about spot-on, with smart grids, the Department of Human Services and Defence all singled out for ICT spending.

This morning's CeBIT gave the Government's CIO an opportunity to flesh out our other two predictions - revealing more detail around the implementation of the Gershon IT spending cuts and data centre consolidation.
