Good morning,

In news that should please owners of Sun hardware, Oracle's chief has come out with assurances he won't be looking to divest that side of the business.

Although he's remaining tightlipped on how he plans to turn the hardware side of the business around, more investment in SPARC microprocessors is on the cards.

One reason for this is to optimise the hardware to support Oracle databases. Read on for more of Oracle's plans with Sun storage, too.
