In breaking news, iiNet appears to have lost its attempts to delay the copyright case brought against it by the film and television industry.

While the ISP had somewhat of a victory when the industry dropped part of its claim - resulting in a legal costs payout - it suffered a major blow with the Court doubling the time allocation originally given to the case.

Attempts by ISP iiNet to delay the start of its copyright case have been rejected by the Federal Court, with a decision now expected before Christmas, the Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft (AFACT) has revealed.
