EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The hack on Melbourne IT servers this week that saw AAPT and Queensland Government data stolen was the result of a "very old" vulnerability in Adobe's Cold Fusion, according to sources.

And Telstra has revealed an underbelly of illegal repeater use affecting its Next G network across the country. The telco catches just "tens" of users every year but suspects a lot more devices are in use without its knowledge.

Have a great weekend!

-- James Hutchinson
