EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The Australian Government has come out in support of revising the international treaty underpinning telecommunications regulation. The proposed changes has been attacked by some, including "father of the internet" Vint Cerf, as an affront to civilian internet freedoms.

And a European organisation has sought support from ISPs and countries to establish an online database of known terrorist and terrorism support websites.

Have a fantastic long weekend!
