EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The vendor behind Australia's "first Wi-Fi town" has unveiled internet plans for Gunnedah residents and businesses, starting at $49 per month. Visitors to the town will only get 10MB free internet per day, though.

Also, the Federal Government has stepped back on claims NBN Co is a 'provider of last resort' in greenfield developments; a cause of consternation for competing operators for several months now.

Have a great weekend,

-- James Hutchinson
