EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Telstra has revealed plans to invest $100 million over four years in consolidating its content and video distribution networks, as it also undertakes plans to combine its media entities.

iiNet has also requested a further extension to its trading halt until Monday, pending the expected announcement it has acquired rival ISP TransACT.

Have a great weekend,

-- James Hutchinson
