EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Sophos has blamed human error for an anti-virus update that last month caused users' machines to identify its own software updates as malware.

And US authorities expect to have put a significant dent in the Microsoft-LogMeIn scam after seizing some $US188,000 in assets from outed fraudsters last week.
